OLAM
OLAM is a collective platform by Lukáš Ostrolúcky and Ana Marija Ostrolúcka Radosavljevic, a married couple connecting alternative club subculture and creating space for collaboration between artists in Slovakia and beyond.
Rooted in decadence, raw rhythm, and concrete club architecture, OLAM’s music suggests a state of suspension—an anticipation of transformation. It evokes an inner collapse that can be endured only through willingness to sit with discomfort, as a way of confronting the self. The project challenges how we culturally perceive the darker aspects of the soul and of art.
In my photographic approach, the narrative of each image is as important as the narrative of the full series, developed through long-term collaboration. I balance direct description with metaphor, capturing a stream of fragmented thoughts, beats, and OLAM’s heavy tempo.
